Science for Progress is a private, not-for-profit organization.
Mission
Science for Progress believes that global connections and peer-to-peer support are key to expediting progress on the most pressing and challenging scientific questions. We aim to positively impact scientific progress by bridging the gap between, and offering coveted opportunities to, scientists, researchers, and practitioners across the globe, irrespective of nationality, race, sex or creed.
Core Values
International Collaboration
No single scientist or scientific initiative can solve the world’s problems. We believe that international collaboration – valuing diverse perspectives, backgrounds and approaches – is the key to making real scientific progress.
Accessibility & Inclusiveness
We strive to empower scientists from all over the world, regardless of national affiliation or socioeconomic background. We do not believe that individuals must relocate in order to contribute. We see inclusion as a critical component of problem-solving.
Small Steps Lead to Big Breakthroughs
Elegant solutions to enduring scientific problems are often found by the thoughtful implementation of existing methodologies. Answers may be found simply by bridging researchers from around the world whose collective innovation and creative leadership can point in the right direction.
Who We Are
We are an elite coalition of international researchers and practitioners across a wide variety of scientific specialties. Individuals within this exclusive coalition maintain the same core set of Science for Progress values. Science for Progress scientists support each other and the larger global scientific community.
Science for Progress has existed informally since 2015. We recently accepted international investment to institutionalize our presence and grow our footprint. With these funds, we have begun to directly invest in promising scientists and research initiatives.
The Member Directory has been invaluable to my career progression. I am so grateful for the genuine attention I receive when I mention my participation in SFP.
